FOR ADULTS - Volunteer banquets, social events, elder care facilities, churches

I would love to share my songs, talent, joy and laughter at your next event!  Each
program can be a  half hour, 45 minutes or an hour in length.  Guests are
encouraged to participate with my inspiring singing, instrument playing and toe
tapping fun.  I will also share humorous tales from my thirty years of performing
throughout the states for children and adults, including my appearance on
    "OPRAH".

My favorite comment came from a resident at Sterling House in Ithaca, NY, " You
did something no one else has ever done.  You got everyone to stop talking!  You
    are truly an entertainer".
    For Seniors

When performing for senior groups I bring back memories of the songs they
loved to sing and the folk songs made popular over the years.  They'll find
themselves singing along to "Don't Fence Me In," "God Bless America," "You are
My Sunshine" and "The Red, Red Robin."  Next thing you know, I pull out my
banjo and everyone is smiling, singing and clapping along.  I believe we never
are too old to enjoy "playing" and with the utmost respect and intention I involve
my audience to the point where they cannot help getting caught up in the
performance.  My energy and fun-loving spirit is contagious!
    My Experience

In the past I have worked as a music director at the Unity Church of Sheboygan
and at the North Shore Gathering. (www.northshoregathering.com) I've enjoyed
singing in several bands over the years playing every style of music from jazz to
bluegrass and folk. I have given concerts at many different venues, singing
songs I have written and my favorites from all musical styles.  Recently I provided
special music for Sunday services at the Unity Church of Arlington, TX and the
First Unitarian Society of Ithaca where I am currently employed as the Religious
Education "Minstrel".  I am available to be the guest speaker for your Sunday
service or to sing one or two songs during your Sunday service or  for your
    special event.
